Noel Fielding, the 51-year-old comedian known for The Mighty Boosh and Great British Bake Off, has faced recent health issues that led him to drop out of filming the second series of The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin. Despite speculation about his future on Bake Off, his spokesperson confirmed he will return as host.

Fielding has kept his personal life largely out of the spotlight. He has been in a long-term relationship with radio DJ and author Lliana Bird, 42, since 2010. The couple met when Bird appeared in several episodes of The Mighty Boosh that year. Bird, who previously hosted a show on Radio X, also wrote the non-fiction book The Mice Who Sign For Sex (2016) and the children's book Baboo The Unusual Bee (2023). She co-founded the charities Choose Love and The Kindly Collective.

Fielding and Bird, who are not believed to be married, live in north London with their two daughters: Dali (born April 2018, named after artist Salvador Dali) and Iggy (born August 2020). The couple keeps their children off social media, though Bird occasionally shares Dali's artwork on Instagram.

Fielding has spoken warmly about fatherhood, telling The Jonathan Ross Show after Dali's birth: 'She is very beautiful and she blows my mind about a hundred times a day. It's a new level of tiredness that I've never experienced.' Bird has praised his parenting, calling him 'the most incredible dada' in a 2020 Instagram post.

Bird recently described how the couple turns everyday activities into fun moments, saying on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast: 'He makes having breakfast a real moment... We're wearing silly hats, and we're dancing. Maybe someone else's kids are going to have a few more spoonfuls of porridge because it's going to be quicker, but my kids are having a lot of fun.'
