Soap star Nikki Sanderson has been flooded with messages after sharing a string of adorable pictures following a first with her actor partner and their baby son.
First holiday with baby
The actress, who most recently played Maxine Minniver in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, welcomed her first child in April alongside her partner, fellow actor and former Emmerdale star Anthony Quinlan. This week, Nikki took to social media to give a glimpse inside their first holiday with baby Anthony.
"Our first holiday with Anthony was a dream," the former Coronation Street star, who played Candace Stowe in the ITV soap, shared with her followers. Alongside pictures of their baby boy on his first flight, before enjoying what Mallorca has to offer, Nikki continued: "We love Mallorca, we’ve been many times, so to come back and experience it with our beautiful boy was amazing. It was a rather different holiday to our usual, early nights and no sunbathing was had….. just lots of long walks and keeping in the shade…. It was magical."
She added: "Shout out to the @jet2pics crew who were wonderful with Anthony, making his first flight truly special (not an ad or gifted, just wanted to say thank you for being awesome!) #holiday #vacation #firstholiday #mallorca #son."

Fans were quick to comment. Corrie star Samia Longchambon said: "Beautiful pics of you all Nik.. just gorgeous all of it." Former Hollyoaks actress Alex Fletcher replied: "Can’t cope adorable." Former Emmerdale star Natalie Anderson shared: "Aw Nikki so gorgeous!! Big loves to you all."

Journey to parenthood
Nikki and Anthony previously spoke about expecting their first little one together after a two-year battle to conceive. At the time, Nikki said receiving the positive pregnancy test result they'd both been hoping for saw them overcome by a whirlwind of mixed emotions and she was "on cloud nine".
"I felt absolutely elated that we got this confirmation and that the baby was fine – the first time seeing the heartbeat on the scans was the most amazing, incredible feeling," she said to the Mirror. "We've had a lot of ups and downs in our journey to becoming parents and it's been really hard on us," she admitted. "But now, waiting for our beautiful baby to arrive, it's just incredible. Every person trying to conceive has their own journey and, sadly, some are easier than others. But being where we are now makes all the ups and downs worth it."
