A woman who challenged herself to eat the 3,000-calorie Big Daddy Breakfast at Morrisons claims that only one thing stopped it from being the best breakfast ever. The breakfast packs your entire daily calorie intake into one meal and then some.
What's in the Big Daddy Breakfast?
The Big Daddy Breakfast from Morrisons contains 23 items and 3,002 calories, costing £12. It includes three slices of toast, four hash browns, four sausages, mushrooms, beans, three slices of black pudding, three fried eggs, and four rashers of bacon. The woman, from the UK's Newest Foods TikTok account, also ordered three slices of fried bread for an extra 75p, adding 221 calories.
The One Letdown
Despite the massive portion and good value, the woman noted that the egg yolks were hard, not runny. She said: "First up, the eggs are hard, and I hate a hard egg on a breakfast. Everything tasted fine. I mean, it's a big, greasy fry-up, but I think for the price of £12, it's definitely, definitely worth it. You could split this between two people, or you could have it all to yourself if you really wanted to."
Value and Reactions
The woman believed the breakfast was huge value for money, especially as it could be split between two people for £6 each. She admitted she couldn't finish it in one sitting and took leftovers home. Commenters on TikTok agreed, with one saying: "£12 is a very good price." Another added: "Wow, that looks amazing! Fantastic value." A third wrote: "Mega value, can't eat for another two days after that though."
The Big Daddy Breakfast returned to Morrisons menus in time for Father's Day on 21st June. The meal contains significantly more than the recommended daily calorie intake of 2,500 for men and 2,000 for women, according to the NHS.
