Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has welcomed a baby boy with fiancé Tommy Fury at London's prestigious Portland Hospital, a five-star luxury maternity suite renowned among A-listers and royalty. The reality star gave birth on 3 June in the upmarket maternity department, which has become the go-to destination for celebrities including members of the royal family.
Exclusive Amenities and Celebrity Appeal
The ward is famous for its plush en-suite accommodation, premium cuisine, and round-the-clock hotel-standard amenities for new mothers. Featuring lobster dishes, an afternoon tea service, and even ornate four-poster cots for newborns, it offers an opulent delivery experience. Molly-Mae joins a long list of celebrities who have chosen this facility, including Meghan Markle, who delivered son Archie there in 2019, and Sarah Ferguson, who gave birth to Princess Eugenie and Beatrice there three decades ago. Princess Eugenie also had her first child at the hospital in 2021.
Lavish Packages and Costs
Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Kate Winslet, and Liz Hurley are among other famous mothers who have used the facility. The hospital offers premium birthing packages with lobster and champagne on round-the-clock room service menus. Packages vary in cost, reaching up to £30,000 for the most lavish option. Comprehensive maternity clinic packages start at approximately £8,910, with additional fees for services such as epidurals, extra overnight stays, and assisted deliveries.
Mother's Testimonials
Jesi Rosati, who gave birth there, told Grazia: 'I got champagne and afternoon tea every day I was there. They bought this huge tray of chocolates and cakes and tea, it was a nice little photo opportunity for me and the new baby.' She added that the kids' menu was phenomenal, with mac and cheese available daily. Another mother said: 'Our room was like a hotel room, private bathroom and also a bed for my partner. The menu included champagne and strawberries, afternoon tea, roast chicken and vegetables, steak plus lemon and strawberry tarts for dessert.'
Exceptional Staff and Facilities
Mothers have praised the hands-on approach of the staff, who vastly outnumber patients. The hospital boasts 50 full-time midwives and a nursery where mothers can check in their newborns overnight. It operates as a comprehensive facility with an on-site NICU, allowing patients to receive all care, including unlimited scans, with their consultant available around the clock. There are 36 private rooms, ranging from standard options to suites with en-suites and lounge areas. Some opulent suites have been booked by royalty for £2,000 per night.
