Molly-Mae Hague has insisted that she and Tommy Fury engage in "fake arguing" in public, despite claims from a fan that they are often seen coming to blows. The former Love Island star, 27, who is engaged to boxer Tommy, also 27, addressed the comments in a new YouTube video.
Fan Claims and Response
In the video, Molly-Mae referenced a comment from a follower who claimed to live near the couple and frequently saw them arguing. She said: "I saw a comment on TikTok earlier that says, 'Molly and Tommy live near me, and I see them arguing all the time out in public. Next time you see us arguing, just come and say 'hi'. Next time you see us arguing, how about film it and post that? That'd be pretty funny."
She then denied the claims, explaining the concept of "fake arguing" to her followers. "Also, it's completely not true. We don't argue all the time, we argue constantly," she said. Tommy joked: "We do fake argue quite a lot, though," to which Molly-Mae laughed and added: "Don't we? We do fake argue all the time. Is that just us? Is that a niche thing? What would an example of a fake argument be?"
Fake Argument Demonstration
Tommy then got into character, saying: "Babe, you're really annoying me!" Molly seemed convinced and responded: "That was a fake argument?! That was really good babe, well done. That was hot."
The claims sparked reactions in the comments section, with many defending the couple and admitting they also engage in fake arguments with their partners. One commenter said: "I also live near Tommy and Molly and they do not argue out in public all the time!" Another wrote: "No my husband and I fake argue all the time. You should hear some of the stuff we say to each other. If you know, you know!" A third added: "What a fab couple, love that you fake argue."
Family Life Insights
Molly-Mae recently shared more about her relationship with Tommy, revealing that weeks before their Dubai holiday, they struggled to spend time together after the birth of their second child. She said: "So [Tommy and Bambi] have gone for food. This is what I mean about just....like being separate all the time. Doing separate things with the kids because it's just not fair. I'm trying to get him in a routine and this is where I'm so torn."
She added: "I'm trying to get him in a routine and I'm trying to do the best for him, but equally that's not the best for Bambi because that means we're all tied to the house unless we do separate things with the kids, which is what we're doing. But then we're not spending any time together and literally just feel like we're only spending time together when we get into bed, by which point we're absolutely exhausted and we've got a newborn next to us."
She concluded: "So...I'm not complaining, I'm not complaining, like, peace and love and prosperity and all of that but it's a lot and I feel like I'm showing a lot of the like like 'Oh, you know I'm coping, I'm good, but also, having moments were I'm thinking 'I'm 100% blessed and lucky but this will be my last child."
