Molly-Mae Hague has told fans she's a 'different person' as she updated them on her first few weeks as a new mum-of-two following the birth of her son last month. The influencer and her partner, Tommy Fury, welcomed their baby boy early last month (June), three years after the arrival of their first child, daughter Bambi.
Announcement of Baby Midas
The former Love Island stars, who met and fell in love on the ITV2 dating show, announced their son's arrival on June 3 by sharing a joint Instagram post, which featured a picture of the newly expanded family for the first time. Molly-Mae captioned the post: '....and then there were 4,' alongside a white love heart emoji. It wasn't until later that they confirmed they had become proud parents of a baby boy, sharing the news alongside a sweet video of Bambi meeting her baby brother for the first time. Later, they confirmed his much-anticipated name, Midas, with Tommy sharing the news during his return to the boxing ring.
Return to YouTube
The new parents of two have since been soaking up the time with their brood, but it seems Molly-Mae has had her loyal followers on her mind as she returned to her YouTube channel on Sunday (July 5) evening with a message. In the caption of her latest vlog, the 27-year-old wrote: 'Hey guys!!! I’m so conscious of this vlog being pants… but I really want to still be present on my channel when I can. I lovd checking in with you all. I hope you enjoy and I love having you on this journey with me.' She added: 'I’ll be back to myself at some point… but for now I hope the ‘ummmms’ and boring chats are bearable. Love you all!!! Molly-Mae.'
Baby Brain Confession
It was early into the vlog that Molly-Mae spoke directly to the camera, telling her viewers: 'Another thing for this video, a nice drinking game for you, take a shot every time I say the word 'um' because all I can say is my brain is absolutely not working properly, and I remember this from my postpartum journey with Bambi.' She elaborated: 'For me, baby brain through pregnancy does not even compare to baby brain once you give birth, because when I'm tired, as you will be able to see in this video, when I'm tired I am a different person. I talk differently, I can't string a sentence together... I just keep saying 'um um um' because I can't get my words out quickly enough... It doesn't flow basically.'
Focus on Routine
Molly-Mae added: 'That is why I'm a woman that needs my sleep and that is why I'm already working as hard as I can to get my boy into a routine because I'm like, I need this little boy to be the same kind of sleeper that Bambi has been for us and that comes with work, patience, perseverance, and for us a really really solid routine.'
