Molly-Mae choked by bird attack on Dubai holiday

Molly-Mae Hague was left choking and visibly shaken after a bird swooped down and grabbed a chicken nugget from her plate during a holiday in Dubai. The former Love Island star, 27, was filming a video for her followers at a luxury resort when the incident occurred.

Bird swoops during poolside video

In the TikTok video, Hague was eating when she audibly gasped as the bird landed on her table. She began to choke and, once she recovered, said: "I've just choked...I am in shock! Guys..." before laughing and spluttering while recounting the moment.

She then asked her followers: "Do you think I can eat the other chicken nugget if the bird's literal beak has been on the plate? That's the question. Will I get some sort of bird disease?"

Hague admitted feeling embarrassed by her reaction, saying: "I feel like I didn't react to that properly because there were a few people watching me and I got very embarrassed."

Engagement ring back on display

Earlier in the trip, fans noticed Hague wearing her £600,000 engagement ring again, which she had previously said she didn't feel ready to wear after a rocky period. The couple, who met on Love Island in 2019 and finished as runners-up, announced their split in August 2024 after five years together before reconciling in May last year. Tommy Fury denied cheating allegations but said alcohol played a big part in their split.

In recent social media posts, Hague shared a photo dump that "reminds me of old times," including a shot of her smiling at dinner with the ring clearly visible.

Struggles with new baby

The break comes days after Hague told followers that she and Fury weren't spending much time together after welcoming their second child. In June, she gave birth to son Midas, and she has a three-year-old daughter, Bambi. In a YouTube video, she spoke candidly about the challenges, saying: "So [Tommy and Bambi] have gone for food. This is what I mean about just....like being separate all the time. Doing separate things with the kids because it's just not fair."

She added: "But then we're not spending any time together and literally just feel like we're only spending time together when we get into bed, by which point we're absolutely exhausted and we've got a newborn next to us."

Hague said she is "not complaining" but admitted having moments of thinking "I'm 100% blessed and lucky but this will be my last child."
