Meghan Markle has a strong circle of friends, many of whom have stood the test of time. The Duchess became known for her role in the television series Suits, growing her Hollywood connections, and later built friendships within the royal circle in the UK after meeting Prince Harry. Now, the Duchess has connections in both the USA and the UK.
Chloe Thomas, Diary Reporter for the Daily Mail, says: “Meghan has a formidable network of friends and professional allies to call upon as she navigates the next phase of her public life.” Since returning to the UK, Meghan has been spotted enjoying lunches or meeting up with her UK-based friends.
Markus Anderson: A Long-Standing Ally
Anderson has been part of Meghan’s circle long before Prince Harry entered her life. The two reportedly met in Toronto during Meghan’s Suits era, when she was navigating the city’s social scene. When Harry and Meghan’s relationship first went public in 2016, it was said to be Anderson who helped to plan safe dinners, private getaways, and to keep introductions private.
George Northwood: Stylist and Friend
Meghan and George have been friends for years. The stylist was even part of Meghan’s wedding day, fixing her hair for her evening reception. Meghan Markle was spotted heading for lunch with George since her UK return, at a celebrity hotspot less than a mile from Kensington Palace.
George, who has also created signature looks for Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lily Collins, accompanied Meghan on her royal tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand later that year. The pair have remained close ever since.
Kadi Lee: A California Connection
Kadi Lee is a hairdresser in California. Kadi and Meghan reportedly met in 2020, after Meghan attempted to colour her hair at home during the pandemic and the result did not turn out as she had hoped. Their friendship has since developed and Meghan became a lead investor in Highbrow Hippie, the haircare and wellness company Kadi co-founded with Myka Harris.
The Sussexes came back to England at the end of August, and they are now reportedly living somewhere in the Cotswolds with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
