The Duchess of Sussex celebrated her 45th birthday on Tuesday with a Mahjong-themed party, as revealed by a close friend. Fashion designer Tracy Robbins shared a collage of photos on Instagram Stories, showing Meghan blowing out candles on a cake decorated with Mahjong tiles, and the friends playing the game together.

Robbins, a Montecito neighbour, captioned the post: “Happy birthday to my partner in crime. Love doing life with you one bam bird at a time. Love you @meghan.” The collage, first seen by People magazine, also included a snapshot of the two playing.
Meghan's love for Mahjong
The Duchess has previously spoken about her fondness for game nights and Mahjong in her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. In episode six, she welcomed friends Tracy Robbins, Victoria Jackson, and Jennifer for a game night, explaining: “My girlfriends are coming over, we have all started to learn Mahjong together in the past few months. We play a version called American Mahjong.”
She added: “The game itself is really so fun, but what was so great was the idea of learning something new with your friends together, and then recognising that the Mahjong becomes the background of the expansion of friendship.”
Another friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, also marked the occasion online, sharing a picture of Meghan and telling her she is “so loved”.
