Meghan Markle has disclosed the preferred jam flavors of her family members, offering a glimpse into their personal tastes. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, whose brand As Ever sells jam, rosé wine, and flower sprinkles, revealed that Prince Harry favors raspberry, while their daughter Lilibet, aged four, prefers strawberry. Their son Archie, seven, enjoys both raspberry and strawberry varieties. Meghan herself opts for orange marmalade.
Family Favorites Revealed
In a promotional post on As Ever's Instagram account, Meghan stated: 'Everyone in my family has a different favourite. My husband loves the raspberry, Lil loves the strawberry and Arch likes both. And I like the marmalade.' The post also provided insight into the brand's philosophy, describing the jams as 'inspired by the jams Meghan has created in her own kitchen and shared over the years,' with a 'small-batch, carefully balanced approach to flavor.' The caption emphasized that the spreads are 'bright and fruit-forward with just a hint of tartness and a whisper of lemon,' designed to highlight each fruit's natural essence without overpowering it.
Anniversary Celebrations
The video comes shortly after Meghan shared heartwarming footage of Prince Harry, 41, presenting her with a cake and a penguin statue gift to mark their eighth wedding anniversary. In an Instagram story, she showed Harry singing 'happy anniversary' in their kitchen, handing her a lemon elderflower cake adorned with four candles. The couple's children, Archie and Lilibet, could be heard excitedly singing in the background before encouraging Meghan to 'blow it out.'
As Ever's Journey
Meghan's As Ever brand previously partnered with Netflix, but the collaboration ended in March after the streaming giant dropped her lifestyle show amid critical reviews. A spokesman for As Ever confirmed to the Daily Mail: 'As Ever is grateful for Netflix's partnership through launch and our first year. We have experienced meaningful and rapid growth and As Ever is now ready to stand on its own. We have an exciting year ahead and can't wait to share more.'
Reflecting on her lifestyle show 'With Love, Meghan,' which launched in March last year, the duchess described it as a 'make or break' project that helped her 'find herself' again. She characterized herself as a 'female founder' and 'entrepreneur' rather than an influencer, telling People magazine: 'I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder and if the brand ends up influential, then that's great.'
Jam for a Co-Star
Last month, Meghan promised her former 'Suits' co-star Patrick J Adams that a jar of her jam was 'en route' after he joked that he hadn't received one due to insufficient social media followers. Speaking on the 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast, Patrick admitted he had not received any jam, prompting Meghan to comment on Instagram: 'jams [sic] en route for you.'
