The couple, who have been dating since 2024 and confirmed their romance publicly in April last year, appear to be thriving, with Maya candidly admitting this week that the only reason she still lives in the UK is for Ruben.
Speaking on her Instagram stories, Maya reflected: 'There is something about me abroad compared to me in England and she's a better human. I think everyone is but also love a little stroll, I love a bike ride. England, shook to ride a bike, to walk around for too long on my own. All the signs are leading to she needs to live in a warm country. If you think about it, technically my jobs are all abroad anyway.' She captioned her video update: 'I'm not gna leave yet really but I am only in England for my man at this point.'
