Lucy Punch Glamorous at BAFTA Pre-Party Amid Four Nominations

Amandaland star Lucy Punch looked glamorous as she attended the Television Makers' dinner in London on Friday, ahead of the BAFTA Television Awards. The actress, aged 48, who is nominated for four accolades at this weekend's ceremony, wore a black, asymmetric silk top for the event hosted by dunhill in partnership with The Park and United Talent Agency.

She paired her top with sequinned trousers, added silver heels, and accessorised with a glitzy handbag. Punch has plenty to smile about as Amandaland is up for four awards, including Best Scripted Comedy. It dominates the Actress in a Comedy category with three nominations for Lucy Punch, Philippa Dunne, and Jennifer Saunders.

She was joined at the party by Game of Thrones actress Jessica Henwick, Joseph Fiennes, and others. The guests posed for photos together before sitting down for dinner. Set within the elegant surroundings of The Park restaurant in Queensway, the occasion united a distinguished group of talent and creative leaders.

The BAFTA Television Awards will be hosted by Greg Davies and broadcast at 7pm on Sunday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Nominations were announced in March, with Stephen Graham leading with 11 nominations for his drama Adolescence and seven for his Disney+ series A Thousand Blows.

Adolescence, created by Stephen Graham and writer Jack Thorne, tells the story of British teenager Jamie Miller, found guilty of murdering a female classmate after being influenced by the manosphere online. Each episode is filmed in one continuous shot and has been praised for addressing online radicalisation and misogyny. It is nominated for Limited Drama and Leading Actor, including Craft Awards.

Stars Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper, Ashley Walters, Erin Doherty, and Christine Tremarco are also nominated. Stephen will compete against Lockerbie's Colin Firth, The Death of Bunny Munro's Matt Smith, and Smoke's Taron Egerton in the Leading Actor category.

Other attendees included Maria Dolores Dieguez, Narges Rashidi, Lindsay Duncan, Donal Finn, Charli Howard, Lauren Lyle, Rob Brydon, Celia Imrie, Posy Sterling, Luke Thompson, Dolly Alderton, Tom Hollander, Charles Dance, David Harewood, and Fra Fee. Charli Howard looked incredible in a black dress, while Lauren Lyle wore a plunging keyhole number. Jessica Henwick stunned in an elegant silk dress with a long blazer.

Ashley Walters will face his co-star Owen Cooper in the Supporting Actor category, alongside Mobland's Paddy Considine, The Death of Bunny Munro's Rafael Mathe, The Gold's Joshua McGuire, and Down Cemetery Road's Fehinti Balogun. Erin Doherty will compete against The White Lotus's Aimee Lou Wood, co-star Christine Tremarco, Get Millie Black's Chyna McQueen, Task's Emilia Jones, and Rose Ayling-Ellis in Reunion as Leading Actress, her first nomination in the category.

Netflix has 29 nominations, but the BBC leads with 73, five of which are for The Celebrity Traitors. The show became the highest-rated on British TV last year, with host Claudia Winkleman nominated for Best Entertainment Programme. Prime Video's Last One Laughing competes against the all-stars version of The Traitors, with Bob Mortimer nominated for Best Entertainment Performance.

Before the ceremony, Fleur East and Roman Kemp will present live on the red carpet on BAFTA's YouTube. The Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns will perform How To Be Human, while for the In Memoriam segment, Norwegian singer-songwriter AURORA will perform Through the Eyes of a Child from BAFTA-nominated Netflix series Adolescence.

The BAFTA Fellowship will be presented to Dame Mary Berry DBE, and Martin Lewis CBE will receive the BAFTA Television Special Award. Dame Mary Berry said of the honour: 'I couldn't believe it was true, what a huge honour to be presented with the BAFTA Fellowship. For over 50 years, I have enjoyed every moment of teaching my passion on television and I thank all the generous professionals along the way who have given me guidance and support - and I am still learning. This amazing BAFTA Fellowship is the icing on the cake!'
