Love Island star Samie Elishi has announced she is expecting her first child with her partner Tyrique Hyde. The couple shared the news on Instagram on October 19, posting a video from a hospital scan.

Samie first appeared on series three of Love Island in 2023, where she was coupled up with Tom Clare. She returned two years later for the All Stars spin-off in South Africa and later won the show with Ciaran Davies earlier this year. However, the couple announced they had parted ways just three weeks after the final in February.
Soon after, Samie confirmed she was in a relationship with former Love Island contestant Tyrique Hyde. They reportedly began seeing each other in March 2026, having known one another since 2019. They confirmed their relationship by sharing photos from a holiday to Morocco.
Pregnancy Announcement
In the Instagram video, Samie, dressed in a white vest top, smiled at the camera and held the scan photo to her stomach. Tyrique was seen smiling as he held the baby scan photo. The song "Forever My Lady" by Jodeci accompanied the post, which featured only a white love heart as the caption.
Fellow reality stars rushed to congratulate the couple. Samantha Kenny wrote "Congratulations!!" with red love heart emojis, Olivia Attwood said "Congratulations cherubs!!!", and Robyn Langton commented "Omg guys congrats". Tasha Ghouri added "Congratulations angel girl" and Helen Flanagan wrote "Congratulations darling xxx" with a heart emoji.
