Former Love Island star Hayley Hughes has announced she is expecting her second child, sharing the happy news with fans while celebrating her 30th birthday.
Birthday Announcement
The reality TV favourite, who appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2018, revealed she is preparing to become a family of four in a heartfelt Instagram post showcasing how she spent the day. Alongside a collection of family photos, Hayley shared a birthday cake topped with her baby scan and sweet snaps of her son, Cody, cuddling her growing bump.
She captioned the post: "The best birthday gift I could wish for. Soon to become four."
Family Celebrations
One touching image showed gold balloons reading: "Happy 30th birthday mummy. Love Cody and bump," while another asked: "Brother or sister?" Cody was also pictured arriving with a large bouquet of flowers as the family celebrated the special occasion.
Sharing the announcement to her Instagram Stories, Hayley described the pregnancy as "everything I ever wanted" and told followers her little boy was going to be "the best big brother in the world."
Journey to Motherhood
The former reality star welcomed Cody in August 2023 and has continued to keep the identity of her partner out of the spotlight. Announcing her son's arrival at the time, she wrote: "25/08/2023 all my dreams came true with you. You are everything & more. My Cody."
Hayley first revealed she was expecting her first child in April 2023, telling fans: "A dream come true my little baby bear you are all we have ever wanted…" She later shared a photo of two Polaroid pictures placed on a beach alongside the words: "We're having a baby. Due Sep 23."
Private Relationship
Despite regularly sharing updates about motherhood, Hayley has chosen to keep her relationship private. Earlier this year, she posted a cosy holiday snap with her partner during a trip to Dubai, carefully hiding his face from the camera. Alongside the image, she wrote: "Another year with you ….happy new year."
Love Island Fame
Hayley shot to fame on Love Island in 2018, where she became one of the series' standout personalities thanks to her unfiltered humour. Since leaving the villa, she has largely stepped away from reality television, instead giving fans glimpses into family life and documenting her journey through motherhood on social media.
