The dramatic twist, a viewer favourite, introduces a wave of fresh bombshells while contestants are split between two villas. Their goal is to pair with an original Islander to secure a spot in the main villa. After the twist, existing contestants can choose to stay with their current partners or couple up with a newcomer. Those left without a partner risk elimination.
