Lorraine Kelly Questions Brooklyn Beckham's Ad: 'Need Money?'

Lorraine Kelly has shared her thoughts on Brooklyn Beckham's eyebrow-raising World Cup advert, questioning whether the 27-year-old really needs the money. The ITV presenter discussed the DoorDash commercial on her daytime show, where Brooklyn appears alone on a sofa and hints at his estrangement from his parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham.

Brooklyn's Advert Sparks Debate

In the advert, Brooklyn says: 'You're probably wondering why I'm watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home.' He then adds, 'It's a long story,' before tossing a stack of tickets onto a coffee table. The ad ends with the words, 'It's complicated. More soon.'

Kelly remarked: 'Apparently there is more to come on that. You wonder to yourself – does he really need the money to do that? I just don't get it, I don't understand what is going on.'

Family Fallout Intensifies

A source told Metro that Brooklyn's advert has left his family stunned. 'No one could have predicted he would do something like this. Monetising this situation will be heartbreaking for David and Victoria, especially after his dig at “Brand Beckham” in his statement.'

The feud between Brooklyn and his parents turned public in January when he shared an Instagram post saying he has no plan to mend fences. He also made claims about his mother's behaviour at his 2022 wedding and alleged his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham was disrespected.

Brooklyn has been estranged from his family for a year, not acknowledging them on social media despite milestones like his father's knighthood. He reportedly sent his parents a legal notice stating they may only contact him via lawyers.
