Leigh-Anne Pinnock's Brazilian Beach Break Ahead of Solo Tour Kick-Off

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, the celebrated Little Mix star, was spotted soaking up the sun on a Brazilian beach this Sunday, showcasing her stunning figure in a sleek grey bikini. The singer, who is preparing to launch her highly anticipated solo tour, looked radiant as she enjoyed a relaxing getaway, posing for an Instagram snap in a triangle-top two-piece that highlighted her toned physique.

Keeping cool under the tropical heat, Leigh-Anne tied her dark hair into a casual ponytail and shielded herself with a matching grey baseball cap. She appeared in high spirits, indulging in acarajé, a popular Afro-Brazilian street food, while lounging on a sunbed by the shore. It is believed this tranquil escape follows her performance at Carnival 2026 in Salvador, Brazil, just days earlier.

Elsewhere, the mother-of-two demonstrated her dedication to her upcoming tour, flaunting her athletic build in a vibrant red Gymshark ensemble. She wore a £30 Everyday Seamless sports bra paired with £38 leggings, layering the look with £48 cosy luxe grey oversized joggers and a matching hoodie draped over her shoulders. Leigh-Anne even coordinated her fiery red curly hair with the workout set, modelling for the brand in a rehearsal-ready stance.

She captioned the post: '@gymshark keeping me rehearsal ready ❤️ This tour is about to go off....' Her solo tour, titled My Ego Told Me To, is set to commence on February 22 in Brighton, with a follow-up show in London on March 3, marking a significant milestone in her post-Little Mix career.

Jesy Nelson's Heartbreaking Revelations About Little Mix Departure

In a stark contrast to Leigh-Anne's sunny escapades, her former bandmate Jesy Nelson has opened up about the distressing circumstances surrounding her exit from Little Mix. In her new Prime Video documentary series, Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix, released on February 13, Jesy revealed that she attempted to take her own life just days before quitting the chart-topping group.

Jesy recounted feeling 'really alone' and claimed that her bandmates—Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, and Jade Thirlwall—ignored her cries for help leading up to her overdose. This incident marked her second suicide attempt, following an overdose in 2013, which she previously discussed in her BBC documentary Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out.

The Painful Breakdown of Band Dynamics

Reflecting on the days before her overdose, Jesy described a meeting where she expressed her struggles to the group. 'I sat everyone down to explain how I was feeling,' she said, 'and I remember one of the responses being, "Are you done now? Is that it?" She was like, "Can I go now?" That made me feel really alone. I felt like there was no point. That no one cared.'

Her mother, Janice, played a crucial role in the aftermath, raising the alarm when Jesy fell unconscious during a phone call. Janice recalled: 'For a few days before, she had just been really down and not talking much. She wanted to be on her own quite a lot. I got a gut feeling that something wasn't right. I kept ringing and ringing, but there was no answer. She eventually answered the phone and the way she was talking was really slurry. I heard the phone drop and didn't hear anything else—I knew she'd done something.'

Janice also shared her perspective on the band's support, stating: 'I personally believe that at Jesy's lowest of low times, the girls were not really there for her and I think that's why she's so sad now.' She acknowledged the challenges of working with someone struggling mentally but emphasised the lack of support during critical moments.

Aftermath and Legal Complications

Following her overdose, Jesy was meant to appear in the final of Little Mix's BBC talent show The Search, but host Chris Ramsey informed fans she had fallen ill. After seeking legal advice, Jesy's lawyers delivered the news of her departure to her bandmates, a move she regrets. 'I think they felt really hurt about that and it should never have played out like that,' Jesy said. 'I didn't get my opportunity to explain why I couldn't do this anymore. I feel mad that that was taken away from me.'

When she attempted to reconcile, Jesy was told the band would only meet with a therapist present. 'I just remember being like, "what? I've just come out of hospital, like this is the time I need you the most",' she expressed. 'I don't know, I just didn't feel like they were my sisters.' The subsequent phone call was described as awkward and uncomfortable, marking the last time she spoke to the group as a whole.

Jesy left Little Mix in 2020, citing feelings of being 'trapped and miserable', and has since reflected on the unresolved nature of her exit. 'It's been five years now and every time I think about it, I think, was it them or was it the management? I'll never know.'
