Emmerdale actress Laura Norton has received an outpouring of support after celebrating a major career milestone on social media. The star, who plays Kerry Wyatt on the ITV soap, marked 14 years since her character first appeared in the Dales.

Laura Norton's Journey on Emmerdale

Laura began portraying Kerry Wyatt in 2012, quickly becoming a fan favourite. She was introduced as the mother of Amy Wyatt, played by Chelsea Halfpenny, in a shocking storyline. Over the years, Kerry has been involved in numerous dramatic plots, including a relationship with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), which ended when she discovered his money laundering scheme.

One of Kerry's biggest storylines came in 2019 when she and Amy accidentally caused the Sharma factory explosion, leading to the death of Frank Clayton (Michael Praed). The incident broke fans' hearts.
