Geordie Shore star Kyle Christie has proposed to his girlfriend Vicky Turner, a former Miss Newcastle winner, during a romantic holiday on Italy's Amalfi Coast. The couple shared the news on Tuesday, posting a video of the proposal on social media with the caption: 'Mr & Mrs Christie coming soon…here’s to forever.'
The proposal took place on the bow of a yacht, where Kyle got down on one knee. Vicky, wearing a floor-length dress, appeared visibly moved as she accepted. The couple welcomed their first child, son Crew Jax, in 2021, and Vicky recently competed in the final of Miss Universe Great Britain.
Kyle rose to fame a decade ago on MTV's Geordie Shore, with his relationship with co-star Holly Hagan becoming a major storyline. He returned for the show's fifth birthday special and later for the 10th reunion last year, which included filming in Portugal and attending Holly's hen do before her wedding to footballer Jacob Blythe.
The engagement post quickly gathered comments from fellow Geordie Shore stars. James Tindale wrote: 'Absolutely love this! The best proposal for the best couple,' while Vicky Pattison responded: 'Omg!!! Congratulations you two!!! This is beautiful.' Kyle and Vicky recently filmed the new series of Geordie Shore in Cyprus.
