Ejae, the star of the animated film KPop Demon Hunters, has married her longtime fiance Sam Kim. The couple tied the knot on October 17 in Seoul, South Korea, according to Vogue.

The bride wore a custom Danielle Frankel tulle gown with a bubble hem and strapless neckline, paired with family heirloom jewellery. She told the magazine: "I had long admired Danielle's modern, but slightly twisted take on a classic wedding dress, and I knew I wanted to reach out to see if she would be interested in working with me on a custom dress."

"From our first meeting, Danielle immediately understood my vision: ethereal, modern, chic, and timeless with a twist," she added.

Venue With Family History

The ceremony was held on Stage 28, a location where her grandparents previously lived. The home and property were later purchased and turned into an event venue. The singer said: "My grandparents lived in the house at the venue when I was a little girl."

"I spent much of my childhood exploring the garden and walking with my grandfather in the hills behind the house," she said.

Rise to Fame and Wedding Plans

Ejae, real name Kim Eun-jae, rose to fame with the release of KPop Demon Hunters, which became a phenomenon on Netflix. She featured as the lead singer behind the fictional girl group HUNTR/X and the soundtrack's hit songs, and won an Oscar for best original song for the track Golden from the film.

Kim proposed shortly before the film was released. Ejae said: "Our lives changed completely. At first, we planned a November 2026 wedding in California, but ultimately after discussing location, we decided to hold it in Korea and moved the date up to October 2026."

"That left us about four months to plan everything. It was hectic and a little stressful, but it was real teamwork, and everything has fallen into place perfectly," she said.
