Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have finally given fans a glimpse of their newborn son, Rocky, weeks after his birth in November. The couple shared a series of intimate photos on Instagram on Friday night, simply captioned 'Rocky' with a black heart emoji.
The carousel of images shows baby Rocky in an all-black velvet onesie, cradled against Travis's chest while Kourtney rests her head on her husband's lap. Other photos include Rocky's tiny feet, Kourtney breastfeeding, and the newborn wrapped in a towel in his father's arms. In each photo, Rocky's face is concealed.
Fans were delighted by the post, with many commenting on the baby's lack of tattoos, joking that they expected him to be covered in ink like his father. Others praised Kourtney for normalising breastfeeding. According to a copy of the birth certificate obtained by The Blast, Rocky Thirteen Barker was born on November 1, 2023, at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The name Rocky carries personal significance, particularly for Travis, who explained in a July interview that it was inspired by Rocky George, guitarist for the band Suicidal Tendencies, and the number 13, which he considers the greatest number. The couple's journey to Rocky's birth was challenging, involving multiple rounds of IVF before a natural conception in late 2022, which Kourtney described as 'God's plan'. Shortly before birth, she underwent urgent fetal surgery, expressing gratitude to the medical team for saving their baby's life.
Kourtney and Travis are already parents to six children between them. Kourtney shares sons Reign and Mason, and daughter Penelope with ex Scott Disick. Travis has son Landon, daughter Alabama, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
