Kelly Osbourne has spoken out on her split from Sid Wilson with a series of blistering social media posts. The scathing takedown comes just days after the Slipknot star was reportedly kicked out of the band he helped build.
Although Kelly never mentioned Wilson by name, it wasn't hard to connect the dots after the 40-year-old shared a string of cryptic Instagram Stories urging someone to 'take some responsibility' before demanding the return of her dogs, belongings, and even child support.
Cryptic Posts and Demands
'Wake the f*** up take some responsibility,' she wrote in one post. The TV personality then suggested she had reached the end of her tether. 'I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise,' she continued. 'Leave me alone. Let me heal. I can't protect you from yourself anymore.'
Kelly appeared to double down in another post, writing: 'Also while I'm at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?' She also reposted messages about putting her son first, including one declaring she would protect him 'at all costs' and choose him over anyone or anything.
Accountability and Defense
A final repost appeared to take aim at people loudly defending themselves against criticism. 'The loudest defense of the guilty,' the message read, suggesting it often distracts from accountability rather than proving innocence. Kelly added her own caption: 'This is why I always take accountability!'
While she stopped short of identifying who the messages were aimed at, their timing has raised eyebrows. Just days earlier, reports emerged that Wilson, 49, had allegedly been permanently removed from Slipknot after almost three decades with the heavy metal band. The DJ and keyboardist – one of the group's founding members – had been fired, although no official reason has been given.
Band's Response and History
Neither Wilson nor Slipknot have publicly commented on the claims. The band's guitarist, Jim Root, appeared to urge fans not to jump to conclusions, however, posting a cryptic Instagram Story that read: 'Don't believe everything you read. Stop. Think. Take a breath. Sit with it for a while maybe. Just maybe even wait until there's more information.' He accompanied the message with Slipknot's song Til We Die, but made no direct reference to Wilson's reported departure.
The reported exit marks the latest upheaval for the Grammy-winning metal group, which has seen several high-profile lineup changes over the years, including the departures of Joey Jordison and Craig Jones, as well as the death of bassist Paul Gray in 2010.
Personal Turmoil and Romance
For Wilson, it's also the latest twist in what has been a turbulent personal year. He and Kelly first met back in 1999 while Slipknot were touring on Ozzfest, but didn't begin dating until more than two decades later, confirming their romance in 2022 after years of friendship. At the time, Kelly described him as 'my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you.'
The couple welcomed son Sidney later that year before getting engaged in 2025. However, they have since quietly ended their engagement, with Kelly recently making it clear that romance is no longer a priority. Speaking to Closer, she admitted: '[Dating is] the last thing on my mind. I love being single.' 'I've got my baby. I'm ambivalent. All men are the same. It's rough.'
She added that motherhood remained her main focus, saying of Sidney: 'He's so gorgeous. I'm very blessed. I would love to have more kids. He definitely has got the It factor. There is something very magical about him.'
