Serious concerns have been raised for the wellbeing of television personality and former glamour model Katie Price, after she was seen looking worryingly thin during a recent public outing.
Friends Issue Stark Warning Over Drastic Change
The 47-year-old mother of five, who shot to fame over three decades ago, appeared in a clip on her YouTube channel travelling to London for a shopping trip with her daughter, Princess. However, the footage sparked alarm among fans and former associates, who noted her frail legs and hollow facial appearance.
Celebrity photographer Jeany Savage, who was instrumental in launching Katie's career under the name Jordan, has voiced a dire prediction. "She'll destroy herself eventually, and she's three-quarters of the way there now," Savage told the Mail on Sunday. She described the change from the 19-year-old's "enviable figure" to her current state as "heartbreaking."
A Career Built on Attention and Ambition
Savage recalled how she helped propel the ambitious young model to international fame, including securing a lucrative £25,000 Playboy shoot after a dinner with Hugh Hefner. "Life was about attention, attention, attention. She craved it," Savage remembered of their time in America.
Yet, the narrative surrounding Price today is markedly different. Social media users have flooded her posts with messages urging her to "please look after yourself," with many commenting that she "didn't look well."
Family Concerns and Private 'Hiccups'
The public worry echoes private fears within Price's own family. A source close to the star revealed to the Mirror that her relatives have openly voiced their concerns about her mental health and weight loss in "honest conversations."
The source stressed these talks come "from a place of love" and criticised recent public comments from alleged friends about her "absolutely devastating" weight loss as "cruel, hurtful and deeply insensitive."
In a YouTube video posted on 18th January 2026, Price hinted at facing private "hiccups" in the new year, despite maintaining a public facade of positivity. Notably, she did not mention her rumoured ex-boyfriend, Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, fuelling speculation about a split after two years.
The star, who has been declared bankrupt twice—first in 2019 and again in March 2024—struck a resilient tone in the video. "I am the best version I could ever be... I'm a survivor," she stated, while acknowledging that "everyone in life they're going to have ups and downs."
