Katie Price has said she believed her marriage to Lee Andrews was ‘for real’ and her ‘final destination’, speaking out after the couple’s dramatic split.
The reality star, 48, addressed her love life in an Instagram story, saying she is ‘not interested in meeting anyone else, engaging with anyone, messaging anyone, or going on any dating apps or dates’.
Eight-Month Romance Ends
The whirlwind eight-month relationship included a Dubai wedding, adopting a dog, getting matching tattoos, and Lee going ‘missing’ before ending up in prison. Lee, 43, marked Katie’s fourth marriage – following Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler – and her ninth engagement.
Katie wrote: ‘Just to address my situation. I’ve been married, had the family life. I thought my last marriage was for real and my final destination.’
Final Straw and Aftermath
The final straw appeared to be when Lee failed to turn up for a joint interview with Good Morning Britain, with Katie confessing, ‘I love him but who is he?’ The marriage reportedly ended in September, with Katie dumping him over WhatsApp amid claims she discovered Lee had just £2.22 in his bank account.
Katie has removed photographs of Lee from her Instagram, while he has unfollowed her – she was the only account he followed. She was recently spotted with Felix Henderson at the Glamour Awards, but clarified he is just a work colleague.
In a behind-the-scenes clip from her Sky documentary, Katie was shown on the phone to Lee, with the pair arguing about her ‘not having time’ for him. She told him: ‘I hate it when you say [that]. When I’m working, I’m in my professional mode.’ She later asked him to ‘please smile because wifey’s coming to Dubai’ before the call cut out.
Katie added: ‘If someone can’t bear the fact that when I’m working, I’m working, then I’m not the one.’ She said she is ‘content, happy, and love my own company and have fantastic friends and family’, and is now focusing on family, including supporting Princess and Junior on Celebrity Race Across The World.
