Katie Price has broken her silence over allegations that her husband Lee Andrews wanted to sell a sex tape they reportedly made for £250,000 to help fix his money troubles. The former model said she feels 'incredibly upset, abused and humiliated' by the claims.
Price Denies Existence of Tape
In a statement released to the media, Price categorically denied the existence of any such video. 'This story is completely untrue. I have never made such a tape, and any suggestion otherwise is false and deeply misleading,' she said.
The allegations emerged after a voice note, purportedly sent by Andrews to a friend before his arrest, was leaked. In it, he allegedly offered to sell the video for £250,000. However, Price insisted the tape does not exist. 'The claims appear to be based on a voice note sent from Lee discussing a tape... a tape which does not exist and never will,' she added.
Andrews Back in Dubai Prison
Andrews is reportedly back behind bars in Dubai's Al Awir prison for a second time over alleged fraud and unpaid debts. According to The Sun, he sent the voice note before his arrest, trying to flog the video. After being informed that selling or releasing the tape without Price's consent would be illegal, Andrews reportedly claimed he was only joking.
Price expressed her distress over the public airing of the false allegations. 'I feel incredibly upset, abused and humiliated that such serious and false allegations have been shared publicly without any factual basis,' she said.
Couple Married Earlier This Year
Price and Andrews married earlier this year, just weeks after meeting in Dubai. The wedding blindsided her family, including her older children Harvey, Junior, and Princess, who have yet to meet Andrews in person. In her recent documentary Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, she spoke about her children and hoped they would one day understand her better. 'They know I had a breakdown, but it might explain why I might not have always been the mum they wanted,' she said. 'I have hurt people in the past. Not on purpose, but I apologise for that. They might also learn why I have this issue with men.'
