Katie Price Confirms Appearance on Princess Andre's ITV Show

Katie Price has seemingly confirmed her appearance on Princess Andre's ITV series, The Princess Diaries, in an Instagram comment where she joked she is now 'allowed' on the show. The third series of the ITV2 reality show is set to air later this month.

Princess Andre's Growing Career

Princess Andre, 19, launched her own ITV2 series last year, allowing cameras into her home to document her life as she builds a career as an influencer. The show aims to show who she is away from her famous parents, Katie Price and Peter Andre. After two successful series, the third series has been confirmed.

Sharing a picture from the ITV2 Reality Showcase earlier this week, Princess wrote: 'Who’s excited for @theprincessdiaries.tv series 3?' Katie Price responded in the comments: 'Yes and I’m actually allowed in this show.' This comes after Katie previously claimed she was not allowed to appear on the series.

Katie's Previous Comments on Exclusion

Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, with her sister Sophie Price, Katie said: 'I want the best for Junior and Princess, and I would never get in the way of that. Princess is taking that same path, trying to do the same as what I’ve done, which I absolutely love and adore about Princess. But I have not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I’m not allowed and I’m not welcome. And it puts Princess in a situation because I don’t want her to feel she has to choose between me and her work because I want her to do well.'

What to Expect in Series Three

Princess told Radio Times about the upcoming series: 'Well, both our parents are in it, so that's really good. You're also going to see my beauty brand, you're going to actually see what they look like. We also did something together... that people would like to see.' Her brother Junior Andre added: 'And you're going to see me previewing one of my new songs. There's a lot of exciting things.'

Princess also commented on the filming process: 'I think I would never want to complain about filming because I'm very, very grateful for the opportunity. So I kind of just take each day as it goes and deal with the tiredness after.'

Previous Success of The Princess Diaries

The first series, which followed Princess as she prepared to turn 18 and embrace adulthood, was a major hit for ITV2. According to ITV, the launch episode consolidated with 1 million viewers, and the show has been streamed 6.4 million times. It became ITV2's biggest launch outside of Love Island and Big Brother. Both series two and three are set to air this year on the broadcaster.
