Katie Alexander shares 'worth' post after moving out of Eamonn's flat

Katie Alexander, the girlfriend of Eamonn Holmes, has posted a motivational caption about "knowing your worth" shortly after reports emerged that she moved out of the flat she shared with the GB News presenter.

Instagram post and reported move

On Tuesday, Katie, 44, shared a photo of herself in a bikini on Instagram, writing over it: "There is a quiet kind of strength in becoming comfortable with who you are."

The post continued: "No longer needing to prove, explain or seek validation just choosing peace, protecting your energy and finding beauty in the life you are creating. Softness is strength. Peace is luxury. And knowing your worth changes everything."

The image showed her looking reflective in a sunny scene, days after it was reported she had left the £1.3million flat the former This Morning host, 66, began renting amid his divorce from Ruth Langsford in 2024.

Relationship status and source comments

A source told The Sun on Sunday: "Katie is still very much together with Eamonn and in love, but she's moved out of the flat," describing it as a "very sad situation" but adding that Katie had enjoyed living there.

They said: "Katie has been Eamonn's rock and lifeline since he fell ill. She's willing him to get back to full fitness and get their lives back on track."

Mum-of-three Katie divides her time between her home in West Yorkshire and the Surrey flat. The Mirror has reached out to Eamonn's reps for comment.

Eamonn's health struggles and family response

Eamonn, who suffered a stroke in April, has faced ongoing health issues. He underwent surgery on both hips in 2016 to relieve chronic pain, later fractured his shoulder in a fall, and dealt with a painful infection and severe spinal problems that led to bladder and bowel issues and a nine-day hospital stay. He suffered another fall in 2022.

Earlier this year, he missed the TRIC Awards, where GB News won Best News Programme for the fourth consecutive year, but sent a pre-recorded message saying: "I'd dearly wished I could have been there to celebrate with the team, but for now my focus has to be on making a full recovery and getting back to my best."

He added: "I'd also like to thank everyone who has sent their kind get-well messages. They really do mean the world to me."

Following the stroke, his son Declan issued a statement thanking supporters, saying: "I just wanted to share a quick message to say we hugely appreciate all the messages, it means a lot to us as a family. What happened came as a real shock, but dad is doing OK given the circumstances and we're taking it one step at a time. For now, we're focused on him and keeping things steady around him."

Declan also asked for privacy, adding: "We'd really value a bit of privacy as we navigate it, and what lies ahead, but thank you again for the support as it means so much to dad and the rest of the family."
