Princess Kate Turns Heads in Cornflower Blue Suit on Italy Tour

The Princess of Wales made a striking appearance in Reggio Emilia on Wednesday, wearing a cornflower blue suit by Edeline Lee. The ensemble, part of the brand's current collection, featured flared trousers and a blazer with a gathered waist, accentuating her silhouette. She accessorised with a pastel blue top-handled bag by Asprey and wore her hair in cascading curls.

Kate's first engagement of the two-day visit focused on the city's early childhood development philosophy, known as the 'Reggio Emilia' approach. The Princess, who has long championed early years studies, met with Mayor Marco Massari and Prefect Salvatore Angieri outside the Town Hall, greeting an adoring crowd.

Royal outfits on overseas trips are often carefully planned, with nods to the host country. Kate has previously worn Italian labels such as Gucci, including a mauve gown for the BAFTAs in February and a tweed dress for a 2017 Victoria & Albert Museum exhibition opening.
