Kane's wife Katie celebrates with WAGs as England advance

Harry Kane's wife Katie Goodland was among the England WAGs celebrating as the Three Lions secured a 2-1 victory over DR Congo, advancing to the World Cup last-16. Captain Harry Kane scored both goals for England in Atlanta, overcoming an early deficit.

England's hard-fought win

Thomas Tuchel's side struggled against a determined DR Congo team, which took a surprise lead in the seventh minute through Brian Cipenga. However, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane equalized and then scored the winner to turn the match around. The victory was met with euphoria from fans inside the stadium and across the country.

Katie Goodland, who attended the match with her son, wore a stylish Toteme grey co-ord and carried signs reading 'Go Daddy' along with a giant picture of her husband's face. She was visibly proud as she cheered on Kane.

WAGs in attendance

Jordan Pickford's wife, Megan Davison, donned an England goalkeeper's jersey paired with white jeans, showing her support. Jude Bellingham's girlfriend, Ashlyn Castro, also attended, dressed smartly in a black halterneck top and jeans. The WAGs experienced the full range of emotions during the match, with Megan even caught praying after DR Congo's early goal.

Upcoming challenge against Mexico

The win sets up a last-16 match against Mexico at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, scheduled for early Monday morning. The WAGs are expected to follow the team once again.

WAGs' time in the US

The wives and girlfriends have been enjoying their time in the United States. After England's 2-0 win over Panama in rain-soaked New York, the group celebrated in style. Bukayo Saka's fiancée, Tolami Benson, shared snaps from New York, including a visit to Central Park. Megan Davison documented a family day out with her son Arlo, including a meal and a performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway.

Prior to the match, the WAGs reportedly visited Maison Close, a trendy French-themed venue, where they sipped $30 cocktails from 10pm until closing at 2am. A bouncer told the Daily Mail that some of the group seemed keen to continue the party and suggested another nightclub.
