Justin Bieber is set to headline the first ever Super Bowl-style half-time show at a FIFA World Cup final this Sunday at around 8.55pm BST. The Canadian pop star has been a devoted Arsenal supporter for over a decade, attending matches and wearing club merchandise.
Bieber's Arsenal Allegiance
Bieber's support for the North London club emerged in the early 2010s when he visited the Emirates Stadium and was spotted in Arsenal gear. He famously posed with German playmaker Mesut Ozil in the dressing room and with Theo Walcott pitch-side. In 2024, he returned to watch a victory over Manchester United and took photos with captain Martin Odegaard.
Other Football Connections
Despite his Arsenal loyalty, Bieber has occasionally worn other kits. In 2015, he played a kickabout in an Everton strip. He also recently donned the Mexico national team jersey ahead of the World Cup, despite being Canadian.

Bieber will co-headline an 11-minute spectacle alongside Madonna, Shakira, BTS, and Burna Boy. The Chris Martin-curated concert will also feature the PS22 Chorus, conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and appearances from Sesame Street and The Muppets characters. The show marks a historic shift in football entertainment, according to FIFA.
