Jude Law and his wife, psychologist Phillipa Coan, have been married for seven years, but their recent Italian getaway proved their love is stronger than ever. The 53-year-old Holiday actor looked dashing in a fine knit polo, while Coan, 38, exuded holiday chic in striped trousers and a vest.
Public Displays of Affection
The couple could not resist indulging in heavy PDA as they strolled through the streets before sitting down for a romantic meal, where they gazed into each other's eyes. Their affectionate behavior highlighted the deep bond they share.
Marriage and Family
Philippa and Jude, first linked in 2015, tied the knot in a surprise wedding at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London in April 2019. They have since welcomed two children together, in 2020 and 2023, though they have not disclosed the names or sexes of their children.
After the birth of their first child, Jude expressed his gratitude: "It's really wonderful. We feel pretty blessed that we were in a time where we could, as a family, just nest and enjoy each other's company and every day as it came."
Jude's Larger Family
Jude is the father of seven children overall. He shares Rafferty (29), Iris (25), and Rudy (23) with ex-wife Sadie Frost; Sophia (16) with model Samantha Burke; and Ada (10) with singer-songwriter Catherine Harding.
Insights into Their Relationship
In 2024, Jude offered a rare glimpse into his romance with Philippa. When asked if she had helped him make bold career choices, he agreed and elaborated: "Also, Phil's a psychologist. So we enjoy a very healthy relationship where we talk a lot about how we feel, our relationships with friends, relationships with our families, and she has a wonderful perspective on all of that..."
He added: "I think one should, in middle age, start to reflect. What are the patterns I've created? What are the relationships I have? Why do I have them like that? How do I feel about them?"
The couple looked happier than ever during their Italian escape, unable to keep their hands off one another.
