JoJo Siwa's heartache was clear to see as she once again had to wave goodbye to Chris Hughes. The pair quickly grew close in the Celebrity Big Brother house before making their relationship romantic after the show. However, they continue to deal with it being a long-distance relationship, with JoJo based in the United States and Chris in the United Kingdom. Despite the vast distance, the duo are continuing their blossoming romance, but things are always hard when it comes to saying goodbye.
The former Dance Moms star couldn't help but be emotional on the latest departure. As the 23-year-old singer dropped her 33-year-old former Love Island boyfriend off at Palm Springs International Airport, she became tearful. Chris, recording their sad moment, is seen opening the door of JoJo's car. His partner faced away from him as she held back the tears.
Chris is heard saying to JoJo: "You don't want Chrissy to go, do you, my love? Darling." As JoJo turned to face him, she was seen with tears streaming down her cheeks. As she sobbed, Chris said: "Ohhh bubsy," and tried to wipe away the tears. The Snapchat post was captioned by Chris: "I just love this face. Never fun going back."
JoJo and Chris started dating in 2025. Prior to their relationship, JoJo had entered the Big Brother house in a relationship with Kath Ebbs. Kath has previously suggested that JoJo was unfaithful, but it is an allegation which the dancer strongly denied.
Earlier this month, it was claimed JoJo is set for a TV comeback a year after her stint in the CBB house. The dancer, who shot to fame as a child on Dance Moms and then went on to appear frequently on Nickelodeon in her teenage years, has grown up in the limelight. She has been filming for the latest Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins series. The Channel 4 military-style series last year saw Emily Seebohm, Dani Dyer, and Gabby Allen pass the tough course.
JoJo won over bosses with a popular performance recently on Celebrity Bake Off. It won't be the first time she has taken on such a challenge. In 2023, JoJo took part in the US version of SAS, titled Special Forces: World's Toughest Test. There, she appeared alongside the likes of Jack Osbourne, Brian Austin Green, and The Kardashians star Blac Chyna. However, towards the end of the series, JoJo called time on her efforts as she voluntarily withdrew from proceedings. But she now is said to want to prove herself and show she is not a quitter.
One insider told The Sun: "JoJo is made of tough stuff and while she has always said she doesn't regret walking last time, she definitely has something to prove to herself and will want to stick it out until the bitter end. She's not a quitter!"
