Jodie Marsh, the former glamour model turned farmer, has undergone a remarkable transformation since swapping the limelight for a quieter life on her farm. The 45-year-old launched Fripps Farm in 2020 and has since dedicated her time to rescuing animals. She has shunned red carpets and showbiz events, but is now preparing for a return to television to raise awareness and funds for her sanctuary.
Marsh shot to fame in the 2000s as a Page Three girl and reality TV star, appearing on shows such as Celebrity Big Brother and Essex Wives. She was known for her iconic looks, including wearing two belts as a top. She later moved into bodybuilding before turning to farming. Now, she is often seen make-up free with her bleached hair tied back, dressed in comfortable attire for working on the farm.
Her new TV show will follow the theme of Clarkson's Farm mixed with Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs. Marsh has made it clear that the focus will be on the animals and the sanctuary, not her personal life. She has confessed that she 'hated being famous' and would prefer to stay out of the public eye if she had the money.
Earlier this year, Marsh revealed she had split from her builder boyfriend Mark, just three months after calling him her 'first adult' relationship. She has been married twice before: to James Peacock in 2007, which lasted two months, and to James Placido in 2016, which lasted eight months. She was also engaged to DJ David Doyle in 2006 after just 11 days of dating.
Marsh had a long-running feud with fellow glamour model Katie Price, but appeared to patch things up in April 2024 when she commented on one of Price's Instagram posts, saying 'I use it too it's amazing.' Price had previously extended an olive branch on her podcast, saying she never had a problem with Marsh and that they might get on due to their shared love of animals.
