The event will take place on Thursday, December 3, from 7pm to 9pm. Tickets are priced at £21, plus a £2 booking fee.

Comer's Recent Milestones

It comes after a significant year for Comer, who brought her celebrated stage role in Prima Facie to a close in Liverpool earlier this year. In March, the actress returned to the Liverpool Playhouse to perform as Tessa for the final time, marking an emotional full-circle moment as she closed a chapter on a character that had become particularly close to her heart.

The award-winning production ran for four years and earned widespread acclaim for Comer's powerful portrayal of a barrister whose life is turned upside down following a sexual assault.

Comer has also reflected on her journey in theatre, recently sharing a heartfelt message with fans after receiving an award recognising her contribution to the industry. Accepting the Outstanding Achievement award at the UK Theatre Awards, the actress paid tribute to the team behind Prima Facie.

She wrote: "Thank you to the UK Theatre Awards for the honour of 'Outstanding Achievement' in Theatre. I proudly accepted this yesterday, with these two legends on behalf of myself and the entire PRIMA FACIE team."

Reflections and Venue History

Reflecting on her early career, Comer also opened up about how not having formal drama school training had sometimes felt like a barrier when pursuing theatre roles. She told fans: "I was struck by the thought yesterday that for a good chunk of time, the reason of being not 'classically trained' seemed to be a hindrance to me being successful in securing theatre roles.

"I don't say this with any ounce of bitterness, those opportunities were clearly never meant. I say it in recognition of how lucky I am to have been met with this level of trust, belief and support during this experience. Ohhhhhh if I could tell that girl all that I know now! Having to think of what to say yesterday got me reflecting a lot, so I thought I would get candid and share some things as I close this chapter."

The upcoming event will take place at the Epstein Theatre, a historic venue in the heart of Liverpool. Originally built in 1913 as Crane Hall, the building was designed as a concert hall above a music shop before being developed into a fully equipped theatre. The intimate auditorium retains many of its original features, including mahogany panelling, decorative plasterwork and classical detailing.

Tickets for the event are available to book at the Epstein Theatre.
