Former Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is capitalising on a remark made by her ex-husband Kody Brown. The 56-year-old reality TV personality has launched a line of T-shirts emblazoned with the phrase 'sister witches', after Kody used the term during a recent episode of the TLC show.
In Sunday's episode, Kody discussed with his remaining wife Robyn the possibility of adding another woman to their marriage. Referring to his ex-wives, he said: 'I'm just not interested in having the drama in my life of another woman... those sister witches of yours.' Days later, Janelle released three shirt designs on her website Janelle Says, available in orange, purple and black for $26 each.
As of Thursday afternoon, the black shirts had sold out, while orange and purple options remained only in size small. Social media users speculated that Janelle had prior knowledge of the episode's content, allowing her to produce the merchandise quickly. One Instagram user commented: 'She knew this episode was coming. This is why Janelle Brown is going to be just fine without Kody.'
Kody's first three marriages have ended over the course of Sister Wives. He was married to Meri from 1990, Janelle from 1993, and Christine from 1994, before adding Robyn in 2010. Christine and Kody spiritually divorced in 2021, while Janelle and Meri both confirmed splits in 2022. Kody is now only legally married to Robyn.
