Jackass: Best and Last's Most Disgusting Scene Nearly Cut, Director Reveals
Jackass Scene Nearly Cut, Director Reveals

Director Jeff Tremaine has revealed that the most disgusting scene in Jackass: Best and Last nearly ended up on the cutting-room floor. The scene, which involves laxatives, clear underwear, and a game of Twister, has left audiences at early screenings gasping and gagging due to its graphic close-up shots.

Speaking to Metro on the red carpet at London’s BFI IMAX, Tremaine admitted he created the stunt but initially decided not to include it. “It’s foul,” he said. “I did come up with that one, and I’m not proud of it. We weren’t even editing it because it was so disgusting and I felt that we already had enough gross stuff already in the film. I just left it on the editing floor until I was reminded about it.”

Paramount Executive Insisted on Including the Stunt

Tremaine added that a Paramount executive was responsible for the scene making the final cut. “But I just didn’t want to get rid of it. There was a certain Paramount executive that insisted that we put that in the movie,” he said.

The scene is part of the fifth and final installment of the Jackass franchise, which stars Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, and the rest of the crew. The film is described as a celebration of friendship filled with mischievous antics and big laughs, but this particular stunt has proven to be one of the most shocking yet.

Knoxville Confirms This Is the End

Johnny Knoxville, 55, has confirmed that Jackass: Best and Last truly marks the end of his involvement with the franchise. “I’ve said before that we’re finished but this is really it,” he told Metro. “It feels like a good place to end. We wanted to go out on our own terms, and it feels like we have with this film.”

Over the years, Knoxville has suffered numerous severe injuries, including a brain hemorrhage, broken ribs, and a broken wrist after being launched by a bull in Jackass: Forever. He also sustained a severe concussion and vertigo after being knocked out by boxer Eric “Butterbean” Esch, and a urethral tear that required a catheter for three-and-a-half years.

Steve-O and Other Cast Members Also Suffered Serious Injuries

Steve-O once suffered third-degree burns covering 15% of his upper body after igniting rocket fuel on himself, requiring life-saving surgery and skin grafts. Ehren McGhehey, aka Danger Ehren, fractured his skull and suffered a facial fracture from his mouth to his eye socket during a stunt involving a Lamborghini pulling out his tooth.

Despite the dangers, Knoxville says the cast wanted to end the series on their own terms. He also revealed his new obsession: the TV show The Traitors. “Oh my god, I just love that show. We’ve watched at least 12 different countries,” he said. “I’ve got through all the UK ones. It’s fantastic.” He even floated the idea of a Jackass/The Traitors spin-off, joking that none of the cast possess the skills to be a good traitor.
