Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd, best known for playing David Platt on the ITV soap, and his wife Hanni Treweek have welcomed their first child together. The couple announced the arrival of their daughter, Constance Ita, on Sunday evening, June 28, 2026, sharing the first photo on Instagram.
Baby Arrival and Name Reveal
The couple posted a joint image on Instagram showing them holding their newborn's tiny hand. The caption read: "Constance Ita Shepherd. Our beautiful baby girl has arrived, born peacefully at home, surrounded by love." The post also revealed the birth date: June 26, 2026. The couple had not discovered the baby's gender before birth.
Journey to Parenthood
Jack and Hanni announced they were expecting their first child together on Valentine's Day 2026, seven months after their wedding at Manchester Cathedral in July 2025. Hanni shared a video on Instagram showing the couple walking in the grounds of a country house, with Jack cradling and kissing her baby bump. She captioned it: "We’ve been keeping a secret…June 2026. Thank you so much to the dream team who made this so special for us."
Jack's Other Children
This is Jack's fourth child. He has two children, Nyla Rae and Ruben, with ex-girlfriend Lauren Shippey, and a son, Greyson, with former partner Sammy Milewski.
