The jungle camp in ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is about to get two new high-profile residents, with their pay packets generating as much buzz as their arrival. Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson are the latest celebrities confirmed to enter the Australian wilderness, joining the existing lineup in a move that promises to shake up camp dynamics.
Expert Predictions on Jungle Paydays
According to celebrity PR specialist Kayley Cornelius, speaking on behalf of online slots provider Prime Casino, both newcomers represent significant signings for the popular reality show, but their financial rewards will differ substantially. While both are established media personalities, their market value and audience appeal place them in different salary brackets.
Tom Read Wilson, best known as the receptionist from Celebs Go Dating, is described as a "much-loved" personality. However, Cornelius notes he doesn't command the same social media clout or current "hype" as campmates like rapper Aitch or YouTube sensation 'Angry Ginge'.
"Because of that, it's difficult to imagine him taking home anything above their bracket," the expert explained. "Realistically, his fee is likely in the region of £60,000 to £80,000, which still reflects his popularity and the value he brings as a warm, familiar TV personality."
Vogue Williams: The Mainstream Money-Maker
The financial forecast is considerably brighter for Irish presenter and podcast host Vogue Williams. As a mother-of-three and recognised name with a loyal audience across multiple platforms, Cornelius believes Williams could command one of the largest salaries in the jungle.
"Given that level of visibility, it's highly likely her deal sits comfortably within the six-figure range," she claimed. "In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she's matching the sum secured by Angry Ginge – if not slightly surpassing it – simply because she brings a broader, more mainstream appeal."
The star YouTuber was previously reported to be earning approximately £100,000 for his participation, suggesting Williams could be looking at a similar or even superior payday.
Cornelius added strategic reasoning behind Williams' potential higher fee: "From a production standpoint, signing someone like Vogue isn't just about headlines – it's about guaranteeing steady viewer interest throughout the series."
Jungle Preparations and Anticipated Dynamics
As she prepared to swap family life in Ireland with husband Spencer Matthews and their children for the Australian jungle, Vogue Williams shared her excitement about the adventure ahead. Matthews himself called his wife "fearless" for taking on the challenge.
Williams admitted she "would not mind causing a bit of mischief" in camp, referencing the high jinks seen on BBC's The Traitors. She clarified, "I don't want to annoy anyone, but I think I am very much willing to go along with the game."
Keeping her jungle involvement secret proved challenging on the home front. "I have ignored everybody who has been texting asking if it's true? I am like, 'ignore, ignore'," she confessed, adding that her children "have a bigger mouth" than she does.
Meanwhile, Tom Read Wilson revealed he's particularly keen to befriend rapper Aitch in the camp. "I think we would bond over our love of the English language," he said, describing the musician as a "modern poet".
His primary concern about jungle life? The lack of champagne. "I do have a penchant for champagne, and as it is quite a naughty tipple, I confine it to the weekend," Wilson explained. "So it is just going to feel like a very, very long week. I will never usually have a couple of anything until Friday."
The new arrivals join an already lively camp that includes Ruby Wax, Shona McGarty, and others who have been there since the series launched on Sunday, 16 November. As fans of previous series will know, latecomers are often given secret missions or initially set up separately from the main camp, frequently completing their own challenges to earn rewards for their fellow celebrities.
