Former Hollyoaks heartthrob Stuart Manning appears completely transformed with a thick grey beard and glasses, looking unrecognisable 16 years after departing the popular E4 soap opera. The actor, now 45, portrayed Russell Owen on the show from 2004 to 2009, briefly reprising his role in 2018.

He added: "When I joined the show, I prepared for that and I worked out – especially when I was in the calendar a few years ago. I'm starting to get back into my old shape again!"
