Holly Willoughby has been photographed sipping wine and enjoying a night out with fellow celebrities in a rare public appearance since leaving ITV. The 45-year-old presenter, who quit hosting This Morning in 2023, dressed to impress at a star-studded event in London last night.
Star-Studded Event
Holly joined other famous faces at the launch of 'Krude' olive oil, an event hosted by the oil owners, Gordon Ramsay, Ben Caring, and Elle Caring. The gathering took place at the Soho Mews House in London on Thursday evening. For the occasion, Holly wore a sky blue pant suit with a double-breasted jacket, open-toed heels, and a simple makeup and hairstyle.
Also in attendance were Christine Lampard, Heidi Range, Tamzin Outhwaite, Nicole Appleton, and Emma Bunton. Holly posed with them, holding a glass of champagne or white wine at different points during the night.
Recent Career Moves
After stepping down from This Morning in 2023, Holly continued to host ITV's Dancing On Ice until 2025. However, she has taken time out for the past year following the short-lived Netflix series Celebrity Bear Hunt, which she fronted with Bear Grylls.
Recently, Holly gave fans fresh hope that she could return to TV soon. Earlier this month, she wrote on Instagram: "Found a patch of sun in between the rain… good old London weather! Just had a brilliant meeting about a project I’m really excited about… things are happening at quite the pace! Can’t wait to bring it to life and share it with you."
Potential YouTube Comeback
This comes months after reports that the former model could be turning to YouTube for her TV comeback, shunning traditional broadcasting. A source told The Sun: "This is a massive game-changer for Holly and the wider industry because this show and her channel will be a threat to the main broadcasters, particularly This Morning and ITV. Advertisers are increasingly turning away from traditional terrestrial telly and looking for new opportunities online — and with a magazine show like this it’s the perfect vehicle."
Phillip Schofield's Comments
This month, her former This Morning co-host, Phillip Schofield, 64, said he was 'content' after leaving This Morning and ending his decades-long friendship with Holly. Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: "Life is really calm and drama-free now. I decided a while ago that I just wanted a quiet life with family, friends I can trust and my dog. Therefore, I keep my head down as much as possible. The past few years were, as you know, utterly brutal on so many levels, and I came to terms with the fact that there was no way back. I've got used to my new life, and I'm content with that and happy."
