Holly Willoughby, the former This Morning presenter, spent her holiday at a beach during the record-breaking UK heatwave. The Met Office extended a rare red weather warning for London and parts of south-eastern England, warning that the exceptional hot and humid weather would continue with impacts likely to the general population.
Holly's Beach Day and Sun Protection Message
Holly, 45, wore a blue and white striped swimsuit that reminded fans of Mediterranean seaside towns. She shared a video on social media explaining the risk of sun damage and the importance of sun protection. While staying under a parasol, she applied Garnier Sombre Solaire Sun Water SPF50, describing it as her "beach bag best friend." She noted it can be used on the body, face, scalp, and hair, and is ultralight and non-greasy. After applying the SPF, she took a quick stroll and dipped her toes in the water.
Career Moves Since Leaving This Morning
In 2023, Holly left This Morning after co-star Phillip Schofield admitted to an affair with a younger male colleague. She said at the time: "This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together." Since then, she has taken on new projects, including presenting Celebrity Bear Hunt, a Netflix reality competition series starring Bear Grylls. According to reports, Holly will launch her own YouTube channel for a magazine show. An insider told The Sun: "This is a massive game-changer for Holly and the wider industry because this show and her channel will be a threat to the main broadcasters, particularly This Morning and ITV."
New TV Series and Fan Reactions
Holly has also reportedly taken part in top-secret on-camera rehearsals for a new lifestyle series titled Together, produced by her husband Dan Baldwin's company, Hungry Bear Media. She teased a return to work with a cryptic Instagram post, saying: "Reunited with my absolute dream team today and my face, hair and outfit have never been more grateful." One fan commented: "Holly, miss you on telly. Where are you? You look amazing." Another wrote: "You are literally a ray of sunshine, Holly," and a third added: "Looking well on it."
