Henry Cavill has delighted fans with his reaction to receiving a surprise gift on the set of his upcoming film, the Highlander remake. The 43-year-old actor, best known for playing Superman, was visibly thrilled when a fan presented him with a box of Warhammer 40,000 miniatures.
Images shared on social media show Cavill beaming as he receives the gift through a metal fence. The actor, born in Jersey, has frequently spoken about his passion for the tabletop game, which involves players commanding armies of miniature figures in a science-fiction universe.
According to Polish entertainment site GRYOnline, the fan owns a nearby store selling Warhammer 40,000 items. The fan later posted a photo of an Ultramarines helmet signed by Cavill, calling it a 'new store artefact blessed by Henry himself'.
Fans on Reddit praised the actor's genuine excitement. One commented: 'He looks like a shelter dog getting excited when someone shows it a toy.' Cavill is currently filming the Highlander remake in Poland, directed by Chad Stahelski of John Wick fame.
