The Queen of Halloween, Heidi Klum, has unveiled her 2026 costume: a severed human hand, complete with gruesome prosthetics, red nails and rings matching the star's own jewellery. The 50-year-old German American supermodel made the reveal at her 25th Annual Halloween Party at Cathédrale in New York City.
Gruesome Details and Fan Reactions
Klum's team created the costume, which featured a bloody trail of nerves, tendons and bone spilling out from the top of the 5ft 9inch star's head. Fans praised the transformation on social media, with one commenting, "Who comes up with these concepts? They're so amazing every year." Another wrote, "Not even AI could recreate the original. The Queen of Halloween remains undefeated," while a third added, "Sorry mortals but nobody does it better."
Star-Studded Guest List and Family Support
The party attracted guests including Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall, Ice-T and Kyle MacLachlan. Klum arrived on the blue carpet escorted by a team of men in hazmat suits. Her daughter, Leni Klum, attended dressed as Miss Piggy, complete with ears, snout and a long, feathered gown.
Past Transformations
Klum has a history of elaborate Halloween costumes, having previously dressed as a Frankenstein-like creature, a werewolf from Michael Jackson's Thriller music video and Princess Fiona from the Shrek films. Last year, she went as a massive worm, with a costume covering her entire body and face, leaving only her eyes visible. She arrived at that event slithering on the floor, with guests including Elon Musk and actress Heather Graham. Her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, 34, also attended.
