Prince Harry faced a brutal on-air takedown from TalkTV presenter Kevin O'Sullivan after a humiliating podcast admission about his occupation. The Duke of Sussex appeared on Joe Marler's podcast, Joe Marler Will See You Now, where he participated in a mock therapy session. When asked for his full name and occupation, Harry replied: “Henry Albert Charles David, or H for short,” adding: “Full-time dad. British Army veteran. Prince of England. Duke. But for today, I don’t know. What do you want?”
O'Sullivan's Scathing Critique
Kevin O'Sullivan, host of TalkTV's The Show, did not hold back. “There you have it Kinsey... a 41-year-old man who has no idea what he is doing with his life. He can not tell them what he does for a job. How he occupies his life. He doesn't know what he does and that is tragic, isn't it?” he said, addressing royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, who agreed with his assessment.
Royal Expert Weighs In
Schofield noted that Harry's response revealed his identity is still tied to his royal roots. “He doesn't correctly answer his full name. He includes the Duke of Sussex. This tells me that his entire identity is still built around his royal relationships. His royal proximity which he has deserted,” she said. She also questioned why he did not mention his role as founder of the Invictus Games, the international sporting event for wounded veterans.
Bad News for Meghan?
Schofield suggested that Harry is “wrapped up in Meghan's world” but may be “desperately missing home,” which could spell trouble for the Duchess of Sussex. The comments come after Meghan recently returned to the UK with their children, Archie and Lilibet, for a private meeting with King Charles. The family currently resides in Montecito, California, but Meghan remained out of public view during the trip.
A source described the visit as “quite stressful.” Allies claim Meghan has stepped back, allowing Harry to navigate tensions with the Royal Family. Harry had originally planned for the family to accompany him on a five-day trip for Invictus Games commitments, but he traveled alone before they quietly joined him for a private reunion with the King.
