Harry Kane's Family Life: Wife Kate and Four Children

Harry Kane, England's record goalscorer and recent Ballon d'Or winner, has credited his wife Kate Goodland as his "biggest support" during his emotional acceptance speech at the London Palladium on Monday night. The 33-year-old became the first English winner of the prestigious award in 25 years.

In his speech, Kane said: "To my wife Kate, my best friend. We've been through ups and downs. You are my biggest support and I felt like you wanted this more than me."

Childhood Sweethearts

Kane and Goodland first met as pupils at Larkswood Primary in east London. They later attended Chingford Foundation School, the same school David Beckham attended. An old school photo shows the pair meeting the football legend as teenagers.

In 2017, Kane spoke about feeling lucky to have found his childhood sweetheart, telling the Evening Standard: "If I was single now and meeting people, you'd never know if they were with you for the right reasons. Is it the money? You'd never really know. So I'm lucky that I've got a childhood sweetheart."

The couple married in June 2019 at a location that has never been revealed. Goodland shared photos from the day with the caption: "I married my soul mate, one of the best days of my life! Thank you for making my dreams come true, you are perfect."

Four Children and a Move to Germany

The couple have four children: daughters Ivy (born 2017) and Vivienne (born 2018), and sons Louis (born 2020) and Henry (born 2023). They also share two Labradors named Brady and Wilson.

Following Kane's transfer from Tottenham to Bayern Munich, the family moved from their £17 million North London home to a £30 million hilltop mansion in an area dubbed the "Beverly Hills of Bavaria." Kane told the Guardian that the family is settling in well, with the children in school and enjoying skiing. He said: "We've met a few of the parents at school and made friends with team-mates' wives and kids. Slowly but surely it starts to feel like home."

Kate's Career and Interests

Goodland, also 33, studied sports science and works as a personal trainer, sharing workout tips with her nearly 250,000 Instagram followers. Kane has expressed pride in her academic achievements, saying: "She always wanted to do her own thing. She went to university and worked hard."

Goodland has also collaborated with jewellery brand Loquet London to create a collection in aid of the Harry Kane Foundation.
