Harry and Meghan move again in Cotswolds estate

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly moved from the "main house" to a "property on the estate" in the Cotswolds, just three months after returning to the UK.

The Sussexes came back to Britain at the end of August after spending six years in Montecito, California. They returned with their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, who are now enrolled in UK schools. The couple have been staying with a friend, thought to be a wealthy businessman, since relocating to the Cotswolds.

Change of Address Reported

UK barrister and broadcaster Andrew Eborn said on News24: "The report is there's a change of address. It's being revealed they've been staying with a wealthy businessman friend in the Cotswolds. According to reports, they've moved from the main house into another property on the same estate."

The couple are said to have a budget of up to £10 million and have been looking for a family home in the countryside. However, the search has now reportedly been called off.

Loss of Frogmore Cottage

Andrew reminded presenter Gabriella Power how much Harry, 42, and Meghan, 45, sacrificed when they stepped down as working royals in 2020. Harry's relationship with William has never been the same, while King Charles reportedly sanctioned the subsequent request for them to be evicted from Frogmore Cottage – the home gifted to them by Queen Elizabeth on their wedding day – following the release of Harry's memoir, Spare.

"You might remember they lost Frogmore which was given to them by the late Queen Elizabeth. They lost that in 2023 after Spare came out and they had a big fallout," Andrew remarked. He added that Harry and Meghan are still retaining their mansion in Montecito and also have a property in Portugal.

William and Kate's Charity Work

Podcast host Billy Bush suggested on his Hot Mics show that William and Kate are doing their utmost to draw positive attention back to the Royal Family through charity work, as Meghan's name is dragged into the headlines once again due to the allegations against her father Thomas Markle Sr.

Thomas Snr, 82, has been accused of possessing thousands of indecent images of children. He denies the allegations.

Billy said: "William is not giving Harry the pass. Prince William is done. The future king is p***ed. You don’t take off from the Royal Family like this and our duty and our birthright and all this stuff, and then come back and go, ‘No problem, let’s be a family again!’"

He continued: "Princess Kate was making some nice, subtle moves at the weekend. Slow and steady moves, while the embarrassment unfolds for Meghan. She’s not rubbing it in; she would never. She’s too classy a woman. But she posted a picture today on their page showing positive work that her family has been recently doing, with a picture of a rescue organisation helping people out. Doing their civic duty."

He added: "Always nice, right? Making gains here! While Meghan is dealing with a degenerate father who’s getting busted by his son in the Philippines, hiding out in the Philippines? We’re helping people, we’re doing charity events here. Right now it’s not even close."
