MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace has delivered a characteristically blunt retort to critics of his dramatic weight loss, telling them to "mind your own business".
The 59-year-old TV personality, who has shed an impressive six stone in recent years, appeared visibly irritated when questioned about his slimmer frame during a public appearance.
'I'm healthier than ever'
"People keep asking if I'm ill," Wallace revealed. "Well, I'm not. I'm probably healthier now than I've ever been in my adult life."
The straight-talking celebrity chef explained his transformation came through simple lifestyle changes: "I eat less and move more. That's literally all there is to it."
No-nonsense approach to fitness
Wallace's weight loss journey began in 2017 when he decided to overhaul his habits:
- Cutting out sugary snacks and processed foods
- Walking 14,000 steps daily
- Reducing portion sizes
- Incorporating regular gym sessions
"I didn't do some fancy diet or surgery," he emphasised. "Just good old-fashioned common sense."
Public reaction and Wallace's message
While many fans have praised his transformation, some expressed concern about his rapid weight loss. Wallace had a characteristically direct message for these commentators:
"Unless you're my doctor, my wife or my child, what I weigh is absolutely none of your concern."
The TV star, who presents BBC's MasterChef alongside John Torode, insists he now feels "more energetic and focused" than during his heavier years.
