Gordon Ramsay has revealed he was moved to tears by the price of his daughter Holly's wedding dress, joking about the cost during a recent television appearance. The celebrity chef walked Holly down the aisle at Bath Abbey in December 2025, where she married Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.
Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Ramsay said: 'I was very emotional, I was crying because I realised how expensive the dress was. That is when it suddenly hit me.' Holly's gown was inspired by the Alexander McQueen dress worn by Kate Middleton in 2011.
The wedding was a star-studded affair, but Peaty's mother Caroline was not invited, reportedly due to a family fallout. She told the press on the eve of the ceremony: 'I don't think they understand how much they have hurt me.' Only Peaty's sister Bethany attended from his immediate family.
Ramsay also shared a touching tribute on social media, writing: 'I'm truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son in law. I love you so much and couldn't be a prouder Dad.' The couple are now honeymooning in Australia after a stay at a £6,000-a-night resort in Mauritius.
