Good Morning Britain presenters have sent their support to Sir Tom Jones after the singer was forced to reschedule two dates on his US tour. The Welsh singer announced the change on Instagram on Monday, October 26, after being unexpectedly hit with a bad case of the flu, following doctor's advice.
Tour dates postponed due to illness
Sir Tom explained that he had completed 20 shows across the USA, but the illness meant he had to postpone his performance in Los Angeles and the following show in San Diego. The new dates were confirmed as The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, San Diego on Tuesday, November 3rd, and The Greek Theatre, Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 4th.
In his message, Sir Tom expressed his regret, stating: "I've had a great time these last few weeks, completing 20 shows and singing for wonderful audiences across the USA, but unexpectedly I've been hit with a bad case of the flu. Following doctor's advice, I unfortunately have to reschedule tonight's show in Los Angeles and tomorrow's show in San Diego."
