Georgina Rodriguez Defends Body Against Critics Before Wedding

Georgina Rodriguez has hit back at body shamers who have criticised her figure as she prepares to marry Cristiano Ronaldo. The model, 32, took to Instagram to address comments about her body, expressing her frustration and calling for respect.

Standing Up for Her Body

In her Instagram post, Georgina wrote: "My body will change, as all women’s bodies do. And I hope it continues to do so for many years, because that will mean I’m still alive. I’m the mother of six wonderful children, three of whom are girls who will one day be great women."

She added: "And if there’s one thing I want to teach them – along with Cris, whom I’m deeply proud of for the values he embodies as a father and as a man – it’s that a person’s worth can never depend on their physical appearance or the opinions of strangers."

Addressing the Criticism

Georgina fired back at critics who have commented on her body, saying: "These past few days I’ve seen all kinds of comments about some photos of me on a boat. Some people are commenting on my body, others are defending me."

She expressed her weariness with the recurring discourse, stating: "The funny thing is, this happens every summer. Every year my body makes the news again. And then I wonder… where is the standard? Who decides what the ‘right’ body is? Do we really still think happiness has a size?"

Embracing Her Curves

Georgina insisted she loves her curves and the freedom to live in her body, writing: "I love my curves. I love the freedom to live in the body I choose. In the body that supports me, that has allowed me to embrace, create life, fall, and get back up. A body that deserves respect, love, and gratitude in all its versions."

Wedding Speculation and Guest List

The couple, together for a decade, are reportedly set to marry soon. Footballers Rio Ferdinand, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, and Rodriguez are said to be invited, along with actors Vin Diesel and Esther Exposito. Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Drake, and Travis Scott are also reportedly on the guest list, as is TV presenter Piers Morgan, to whom Ronaldo hinted he would marry Georgina after this year's World Cup.
